DINAS Powys stunned Cardiff Airport midweek winning 3-1.

Midweek Premier League action saw the local derby at the Murch when Dinas Powys faced Cardiff Airport and won 3-1 in a surprise result!

Goals came from a Myles Case double and Scott Griffin, with Curtis Scotto scoring for Airport.

Unfortunately the momentum never carried forward for Dinas on Saturday and they went down heavily at home to Caerphilly Athletic 8-2.

Jack Harrold and Lucas Murray were the Dinas scorers.

Cardiff Airport travelled to Locks Lane against Porthcawl Town Athletic and drew 0-0.

Despite dropping five points in their previous two games, Airport still have a chance of securing third place, but have a difficult task away to new leaders Bridgend Street midweek.

In Championship action, leaders Ely Rangers roll on with a 6-2 victory over Treforest.

Alex Long scored four, with Jaden Bahumaid and Luke Davidson also on the score sheet.

Two points from their remaining three games will see Rangers promoted. For the title, Aberdare Town visit Station Road on Saturday.

At Sully Sports and Social Club, Sully Sports hosted Vale United in the Vale derby sharing six goals in a 3-3 draw.

Jack Wheeler, Luke Evans and Aaron Morten were Sully’s scorers with Will Thyer, Adam Preece and Louis Edwards in reply for Vale United - who travel to face bottom side Garw BGC midweek.

Finally, both Vale teams were in action in Division 1 West.

Holton Road faced a difficult task home to second place Cardiff Bay Warriors and came out 3-1 winners to ease any relegation worries.

Bradley O’Loughlin, Dan Morgan and Jack Cutajar were their scorers.

On paper Cogan Coronation faced a more difficult game away to leader Afan United, but came away with a credible 1-1 draw, Jack Thompson getting Corries goal, unfortunately the single point see Corries slip into the bottom two.

Midweek sees Holton Road face bottom team Canton Rangers at the Colcot Sports Centre.
