Last Sunday was a very busy day on Barry Island.
Thousands of visitors it seems were attracted to the resort by the sunny weather and the Transport Festival...and an airfix type Model Show at Barry Island Station.
Many hundreds of people of all ages were drawn by the WWII jeeps and the naval commandos into the building to see a vast array of aeroplanes and other dioramas.
And to visit the Barry War Museum which is - for now - Barry's ONLY Museum!
If you have never visited, there is no time like the present. As they say, we have plans for the remainder of 2022 as we approach our tenth anniversary in November.
We are open every Wednesday from 11am to 2pm. And at other times!
