EACH time Foo Fighters bring a song into the British charts, it lingers for a while and then seems to disappear.
This is not fair.
It's selling short some seriously good talent. And the newest album from this crazy band makes that obvious.
If anyone has ever managed to catch a glimpse of one of their music videos, it looks like the four members have a cracking time.
From what you can see, it looks like they just don't take themselves seriously.
The album One By One was out just in time for their live performance in Cardiff, which was hugely appreciated by their following of fans.
Considering Foo Fighters have a very distinctive style, there is still a good variety of pace and tone to the 11 tracks on the CD.
Disenchanted Lullaby is comparatively quiet, Tired of You heralds the end of a relationship and there's a fair chance that once you have listened to Lonely As You, the tune will stay in your head.
Otherwise, prepare to be rocked.
One By One is a must for fans, and a good starting point for people breaking into the mad world of the Foo Fighters.
