I AM writing in response to the TV programme X-ray. I visited the Knap skate park last Tuesday night to find that the council has filled in the gaps in the bottom of the ramps.

But the concrete that they put in will only last about two weeks (if you're lucky) with the amount of traffic that goes over it.

I know this because they have tried to fill it in several times before, also they have removed the rail, which is one of the best parts of the park.

Is this their idea of making it safe? Because they haven't done anything with the nail that sticks out. They need to listen to the people who use it on a regular basis so that they can actually get it right.
