A BARRY man has pleaded guilty to physically abusing two kittens, a female kitten called Maisey and a male kitten called Odin.
Daniel Bradley Jones, 25, of Northcote Terrace, Barry pleaded guilty to three offences at Cardiff Magistrates Court on September 12, 2024.
This included two accounts of causing unnecessary suffering to protect an animal and one account of not taking steps to protect it from pain, suffering, injury, or disease.
He has pleaded guilty inflicting physical abuse upon the tortoiseshell female kitten Maisey on September 7, 2023.
He also pleaded guilty to inflicting physical abuse on a black and white male kitten called Odin between October 23 and November 20, 2023.
The third offence was not taking the steps as were reasonable in all circumstances to ensure the cats were protected from pain, suffering, injury, or disease.
The defendant who has pleaded guilty to the three alleged offences will next appear before the court on January 8, 2025.
