A BARRY town business owner has been convicted of an offence relating to his commercial waste.
The offence was investigated by the Vale of Glamorgan Council Enforcement Waste Crime Unit.
Lewis Slack was arrested by South Wales Police after Magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest due to him failing to appear before court when summoned.
He was subsequently detained in police custody overnight before pleading guilty to the offence.
On or about August 2, 2024, at Barry he failed to comply with requirements regarding the making/retention/furnishing of documents.
Magistrates fined Mr. Slack £100 and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £40.
