A MAN from Barry has been jailed for robbing a 15-year-old of his bike and an electric scooter.
Brandon Thompson, 20, has been jailed for stealing the bike and other offences.
Less than 24 hours later, during the early hours of October 2024, he dumped the bike.
He then stole an electric scooter from a man outside Tesco in Main Street.
He was identified on CCTV and the stolen scooter was found at his home in Bassett Street.
He was sentenced at Newport Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday, November 26) to three years detention at a young offenders' institute.
When Thompson turns 21, he will be transferred to an adult prison.
