A dedicated police youth volunteer has clocked up more than 300 hours of service.
Ben Simpson, who has volunteered at community events across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, is leaving after four years with the Barry Hub.
Superintendent Naomi Drew awarded Ben with a certificate and a gift in recognition of his commitment.
South Wales Police thanked him for always giving "100 per cent" in his volunteering duties and wished him the best of luck for the future.
The police youth volunteer scheme, open to those aged 14 and above, is nationally recognised for promoting good citizenship among young people.
The scheme aims to encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship, support local policing priorities through volunteering, give young people a chance to be heard, inspire young people to participate positively in their communities and promote a practical understanding of policing amongst all young people.
