A MAN in his thirties from Barry has been charged with burglary following an incident on Monday.
South Wales Police were called to Boots on Windsor Road in Penarth at just before 10pm on Monday, November 25.
It is understood that at least 15 police officers and four police vans were present.
The security alarms were going off at the Boots store in Penarth at around 10pm on Monday, November 25.
Police who responded to the alarm activation at the premises just before 10pm arrested a 38-year-old man who remains in custody.
Craig Dibble, 38, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary and has since been charged.
South Wales Police have confirmed that he is due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, November 27.
