A tattoo artist has set up shop in Goodsheds in Barry.
Charlie, the owner of Casinha Tattoo Studio, has returned to Barry after a decade spent in New Zealand and Brazil.
She said: "I knew that Goodsheds was the place for my tattoo studio and so Casinha (Portuguese for Little Home) came to be."
The studio, which is appointment-only, is located in the garden at Goodsheds.
Charlie, who worked in busy high street studios in New Zealand, has five years of industry experience.
She often works freehand, meaning she draws directly onto the skin without using a stencil.
This method creates tattoos that flow naturally with the body's contours.
Her specialities include ornamental, botanical, and blackwork tattooing.
However, she enjoys working in a range of styles.
Casinha Tattoo Studio is a family-run business.
The studio aims to provide an 'inclusive, respectful and peaceful space' for people to feel comfortable during the tattooing process.
With an eco-conscious ethos, the studio strives to be sustainable, minimising waste and using biodegradable products where possible.
Tattoo ideas and requests can be communicated openly both before and during the appointment.
Tattoo designs that are available on Instagram can also be booked.
Casinha Tattoo Studio works with the highest quality products in the industry and offers a unique tattoo experience for each individual.
The studio's aim is to keep clients informed from the beginning to the end of the tattoo appointment, ensuring everyone feels confident and comfortable.
