A new ice and sauna therapy business has opened in Sully.
‘Alive’ run by James Abbott 37, and Dan Tucker 35, offers contrast therapy treatments.
The business is located at Sully bp Sports and Social Club on South Road and opened the 24th of August.
Treatments include three rounds of sauna and ice bath sessions.
So far public reaction to the business has been good.
James explained: “Everyone that’s come through the door loves it, so it releases a lot of dopamine going from the hot to cold and boosts your stress response system.”
He continued: “It’s contrast therapy so we might do 12 minutes in the sauna two minutes in the ice and everyone that leaves is really happy.
“We were doing it for a couple of years in Blackwood and now we’ve decided to open down here.”
Currently, the businesses opening times are Tuesday to Thursday 8:00am to 19:00pm and Friday to Saturday 8:00am to 20:15pm.
Currently it costs £15 per person for a 45-minute session.
