A new ice and sauna therapy business has opened in Sully.

‘Alive’ run by James Abbott 37, and Dan Tucker 35, offers contrast therapy treatments.

The business is located at Sully bp Sports and Social Club on South Road and opened the 24th of August.

Treatments include three rounds of sauna and ice bath sessions.

James explained: “Everyone that’s come through the door loves it, so it releases a lot of dopamine going from the hot to cold and boosts your stress response system.”

He continued: “It’s contrast therapy so we might do 12 minutes in the sauna two minutes in the ice and everyone that leaves is really happy.

“We were doing it for a couple of years in Blackwood and now we’ve decided to open down here.”

Currently it costs £15 per person for a 45-minute session.
