There were two public notices recently issued for the Barry area.

The notices - which can all be viewed on the Public Notice Portal - include a probate and an application to vary a premises licence.

Probate notice - Adolphus Stevens

The probate notice concerns Adolphus Stevens, who lived at 22 Port Road East, Barry, CF62 9PT.

He died on March 23, 1995.

Under the Trustee Act 1925, anyone with a claim against or interest in Mr Stevens's estate must send written particulars to Carli Evans, c/o Passmores Solicitors at 21 Tynewydd Road, Barry, South Glamorgan, CF62 8HB, by January 8, 2025.

After this date, the estate will be distributed, considering only the claims and interests notified.

Premises licence variation

Bier Keller Pizza Limited at Bier Keller, 3-4 Paget Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF62 5TQ, has submitted an application for a variation of its premises licence.

The proposed changes include the supply of alcohol, live music, recorded music, and late-night refreshments from 11am-1.30am on Thursdays to Saturdays, as well as on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and any Sunday immediately before a bank holiday Monday.

Recorded music and late night refreshments would continue until 2am on these days.

The licensing register can be inspected at the Licensing Section, The Vale of Glamorgan Council, Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry, CF63 4RU, during office hours.

Any representations must be made in writing to the above address, or via e-mail at licensing@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk by November 26, 2024.

Falsely making a statement in connection with an application is an offence punishable by an unlimited fine.
