The Met Office has predicted a relatively dry end to the week in Barry but it is set to get windier and wetter as the weekend progresses.

Saturday is expected to start off overcast but rain is forecast from 6pm, set to last throughout the night.

Temperatures could reach a high of 11 degrees and wind speeds are set to pick up to around 23mph.

The rain is set to continue into Sunday, lasting until roughly 6pm.

However, some sunny spells could appear alongside the rain from 9am to midday.

It is set to be cooler with a high of 10 degrees, and wind speeds are predicted to be quite high, with gusts of around 35mph predicted for the morning and lunchtime.

Monday is forecast to be a bit better, with dry, cloudy conditions throughout the day.

Some sunny spells are expected, but temperatures are not predicted to go past 9 degrees, with wind speeds around 33mph.
