A pair of industrial units in Barry are being transformed into a veterinary practise.
An application submitted by Vale Veterinary Practise has been approved by the Vale council to transform units 18/19 of the Ty Verlon Industrial estate into a new veterinary centre.
In the application Vale Veterinary Practise stated: “Whilst the Barry practice is the founding office and headquarter to the business, it has now outgrown the building which is constraining further growth.
“One of the key areas of the design and intended approach is for the two segregated reception and consultation areas; this allows cats and dogs to be managed separately thereby reducing animal stress and improving care and animal welfare.”
Other key features Vale Veterinary Practise wants to implement includes equipment for CT scanning, hydrotherapy equipment, and to use the premises for emergency and out of hours services. The application was approved by the Vale council on October 30th.
