New Gavin and Stacey watch parties are occurring at Goodsheds in Barry.

Goodsheds are streaming all existing episodes of the show as part of an epic watch party run up event towards the final ever episode.

The streaming kicked off on Sunday, October 13th and finishes on Sunday, December 22nd, ending with the previous Christmas Special which aired back in 2019.

Each Sunday starting at 4pm a total of two episodes per season will be completed.

This Sunday (November 3rd) I attended one of these watch parties!

Fans could munch on a range of different foodie treats available at from local vendors and order drinks from the Goodsheds bar.

Me and my friend both opted for food from Mr Croquewhich I went for a large American style Hotdog, and she had a Parmesan Chicken Burger with BBQ sauce. Fries were mandatory of course.

In these side-splitting episodes viewers find out that Nessa is pregnant, and Smithy is the father which then leads to a heated argument in Italian restaurant Capriccios and a devastated Smithy doing a runner.

The boys finally track Smithy down who is confronted with the reality he’s going to be a dad.

Local viewers might recognise ‘Capriccios’ the Italian where all hell breaks loose in the show as real Italian restaurant Villa Napoli at The Glendale Hotel, Penarth.

Attendees this week were in for a treat as Goodsheds continued the watch party bonanza past the promised two clips and let attendees watch two extra episodes. In these extra episodes we see Nessa and Smithy attend their first prenatal scan, Gavin and Stacey have their first ever married tiff, Micks dramatic TV debut, and see the iconic corn on the cob scenario play out.

For fans of the show looking for something a bit different being able to experience Gavin and Stacey fever in the heart of Barry was something this reporter would definitely recommend.
