TWO WOMEN have died, and two men have been taken to hospital with one in critical condition after a crash in Barry.
The crash on the A5050 in Barry happened at around 1.40pm on Saturday (November 2).
The road which closed from the junction of Port Road East and Barry Dock Link Road to Pugh’s Garden Centre has since reopened.
South Wales Police have confirmed two women died at the scene and two are receiving treatment in hospital.
Sergeant Craig Wood said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family of the two women who have died in this collision.
“We are in the early stages of our investigation and are still trying to establish the full circumstances.”
The police are appealing to anyone in the area between 1.30pm and 1.50pm on Saturday who may have information to get in touch.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who can give us extra informationon the manner of driving of a grey Audi RS 4 prior to the collision,” he added.
