Fancy a pint? well, it turns out Barry has you covered as it was recently ranked joint fourth alongside Newport for the cheapest place in Wales for a beer.
This is according to new data provided by hospitality experts Alliance Online who used Expatistan and Numbeo data to calculate the cheapest places for beer in the UK.
Barry having just missed out at a spot in the top 3 was outranked by Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend, and Wrexham which was crowned overall cheapest place in Wales for a beer.
So how much can you expect to pay for a beer in Barry? A beer in both Barry and Newport totalled in at £4.
The average pint in Merthyr Tydfil came in at a decent £3.75 which was closely followed by Bridgend at £3.60.
All of the above were outranked by Wrexham who weighed in at a minimal £2.00! No wonder those Wrexham supporters are merry!
