Joe Whittaker Osteopath is the latest business to come to Barry which offers a range of different treatment options for people with osteopathy issues.
Business owner Joe Whittaker said: “I decided I’d open a business because I wanted to help as many people in Barry as I could.
“I love the profession it’s really fun it lets me play detective and it lets me help people at the same time.”
Joe explained what treatments are available. He said: “I do a complete case history of all my patients, which involves their medical history, any injuries, their sleep, diet, stress levels, any medications and a real whole life assessment.”
“Then I do physical assessments on them, to confirm my diagnosis so I’m able to diagnose patients as well and rerefer them on for private MRI scans or to the GP.”
Joe is a second generation osteopath and is following in his mother Sharon Sylvester’s footsteps. To celebrate the clinic opening Joe is offering free 15 minute consultations for everyone and initial 45 minute appointments for £30.
