A coffee business in Barry has given itself an upgrade.
Bro Coffi, run by brothers Peri and Harrison Jones, are known for their adventurous portable coffee bike but now the brothers are back, and this time business is bigger and better.
They’ll be ditching the coffee bike in exchange for a converted horsebox which will be stationed down by the Barry Island Beach huts.
We asked them how business was getting on Peri said: “We don’t get drenched in the rain, so we are loving the new horsebox because on the bike you’d get drenched
"I swear that spot by the beach hut is the windiest place in Barry so, we’re just loving being indoors we feel like kings.”
The horsebox business officially opened last weekend and so far, public reaction has been great.
Peri said: “It went really well and a lot of the customers we serve really like the business, people are excited to see it.”
So, what’s new? Peri said the brothers along with a new set of wheels will be offering some new treats: “Were going to be doing Mr whippy ice creams and slush puppies which we haven’t done before and alongside our coffees and brownies that we do.”
The business aims to be open from Wednesday to Sunday each week however, the brothers have said times may change.
