The winners of the Vale of Glamorgan Business Awards were announced on Friday at a black-tie awards ceremony at the Vale Resort.
The inspiring evening highlighted what these unique businesses bring to the Vale and created a sense of achievement for the region.
This is the third year of the awards taking place.
Chair of judges, David Stevens, said: “It has been a joy for me and my fellow judges both to catch up with previous finalists and also to get to know total newcomers to the awards.“As with last year, there were hard choices and split decisions during the judging, but all of the finalists, runners-up and winners should be proud of their achievements. Thank you all for your participation.”
The awards, created by Grapevine Event Management, were supported by sponsors including; The Vale of Glamorgan Council, Associated British Ports (ABP), The Erith Group, Renishaw, Swansea Building Society, Stills, The Vale Resort, and Business News Wales.
Director of Grapevine Event Management and founder of the Vale of Glamorgan Business Awards, Liz Brookes said: “The event was a fantastic opportunity to see such high-quality entries and meet so many talented individuals.
“The creativity and dedication on display were truly impressive. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success.”
Môr Cleaning business owner Kirsty Hosking said: “So we’ve been running since 2018, so we are going into our 7th year next year and winning the award was amazing. The Growth award was the one we were hoping for as in the last 7 years we’ve gone from just myself cleaning on my own to employing 17 staff now.
“It was brilliant as a company we were really looking forward to the event it was exciting and obviously there was a lot of local businesses there and networking.”
The nominated charity partner for the awards was Tenovus Cancer Care, a Wales-based charity giving help, hope and a voice to everyone affected by cancer.
