There have been two planning applications for the Barry area submitted to the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
The applications - submitted between September 23 and 29 - relate to developments such as a nursery extension and a discharge of condition for a larger development.

A proposal has been submitted to extend the existing nursery building at Colcot Junior And Infant School, Florence Avenue, Barry, which would provide a staff room, changing room, quiet room, children's room, and more.
Discharge of Condition 5 (materials details)
A discharge of Condition 5 (Materials details) application has been submitted for planning application (2022/01185/FUL), the overall application proposes the change of use and conversion of The Merrie Friars building's first and second floors into six residential units in Barry Island.
