Gavin and Stacey cast members have been spotted out and about around Barry once again. Even though the filming has wrapped up in Barry this hasn’t stopped the cast from enjoying the town to its fullest!
And what better way to enjoy the town than visit all the best local food and drink hot spots, the latest cast member seen out and about was the lovely Alison Steadman herself better known as Mrs Pamela Shipman.
According to restaurant owner Sara Criddle her table enjoyed fresh battered cod and chips. Followed by homemade puddings.
Alison’s order was included: Fresh Cod in batter with our own chips and mushy peas followed by a homemade Hazelnut and Raspberry Meringue.
So, what did Pamelaaa get up to? Sara Criddle said: “She said she loved the area and that they’re still filming in Cardiff, and it’s a really nice restaurant.”
“One lady said how she’d improved Barry in a way by doing Gavin and Stacey there.”
Ross Criddle fellow restaurateur said: “There was one lady there that said she really liked one of the plays she’d been in at the beginning of her career, and the lady said she was really fond of her as an actress and spoke to her for a couple of minutes.”
Alison also reportedly stopped for photos with fans and said she was going to miss Barry, but all good things must come to an end.
With Christmas just 85 days away fans can sleep tight knowing we’ll see plenty of Alison to come.
