Here we take a look at some of the events going on this weekend in the town including a market and live music.
Autumn Barry Food and Drink Market - Goodsheds
The Goodsheds will be hosting an Autumn Market event on Sunday, October 6.
It will be a cosy celebration of the season with delicious food and drink from makers and producers from the area.
Visitors can enjoy a delightful experience, surrounded by fantastic street food and unique indie shops.
Rounders
A free rounders taster session will be held at Colcot Sports Centre on Colcot Road on Friday, October 4 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
The organisers, MyRounders, said: "Our rounders leagues have gone crazy and team spaces went fast in Port Talbot, Neath, Pontardawe, Gowerton and Llanelli.
"We have 3,000 players registered so far and maybe you would like to join them?"
If you are interested in playing rounders again, this is an opportunity to hold a bat and throw a ball once more.
The session is for those aged 16 and above.
The Goodges
Rock fans are in for a treat with The Goodges performing live at Barry Town United on Jenner Park on Saturday, October 5 from 9pm.
Renowned for their "jubilant guitars and rousing authoritarian vocals", the band will be playing a wide range of covers from bands such as Green Day, Queen, AC/DC, Journey, Blink 182, Bryan Adams and many more.
The Goodges have more than 20 years of professional experience and have performed at many prominent events.
Entrance for the event is free.
Tina Live – The Tina Turner Experience
On Saturday, October 5, at 7.30pm, the Memo Arts Centre will be hosting a concert-style stage show, paying tribute to the late Tina Turner.
Julie Nevada as Tina, accompanied by a live band and dancers, will chart the career of the iconic performer.
Gary Scott from BBC Radio Kent said about the show: "The best West End show not in the West End".
Tickets for this electrifying night of music are priced at £26.
