A weather warning has been issued for Barry.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain on Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27.
It will be in place from 5pm on Thursday until 10am on Friday.
The Met Office said: "There is some uncertainty in the details, but some locations may see up 20-30 mm of rain in two-three hours and perhaps 40-60 mm in four-six hours."
Thursday is set to be a mixed day, with sunny intervals throughout the morning.
The rain should start to come in from around 2pm, getting heavier from 6pm.
The heavy rain is set to stay for the evening and into the early hours of the morning on Friday.
Despite the weather warning being in place until 10am on Friday, the Met Office is predicting that the rain should be stopping by 7am, with sunny intervals predicted for the morning and sun around 4pm.
Temperatures should reach highs of around 16 and 14 degrees respectively.
The weekend should be drier, with sunny intervals predicted for the day on Saturday, September 28, with temperatures of around 14 degrees.
Sunday, September 29 is predicted to be a dry but cloudy day, although some sunny intervals could be expected around 7am.
There is some rain predicted around 10pm and this will continue into Monday, September 30, with rain predicted until around 7pm.
