THE cast of Gavin and Stacey have been enjoying local Barry food and drink hotspots once more, this time they chomped down on pizza.

Photos show James Corden chomping down on pizza at The Front Room, the recently opened pizza restaurant in Barry.

It seems that Larry Lamb spoke highly of popular pizzeria and eatery ‘ as multiple cast members dropped by for a visit yesterday.

Owner and Chef Dave Wigley gave Barry and District News the dirt on what was occurring -including possible on-screen fiancées Smithy and Nessa’s orders!

Dave said about James: “He was on top form and could not have been more interested in what we were doing or nicer to meet!

“Apparently, he asked Larry Lamb – ‘Where is this amazing pizza place?’”

So, what did Smithy order?

Chef Dave revealed that James tried a ‘Front Room’ and a ‘Mega Rita.’

Ingredients for these popular menu include Mega Rita-House Sauce, cheese blend, and herb mix, finished with Pesto and Parmesan.

In a video posted by staff at The Front Room Corden exclaims: “Oh my gosh that is so good-the honey!”.

Whilst at The Front Room Ruth Jones reportedly enjoyed ‘The Mushroom in the Front Room; roasted chestnut mushrooms and red onion with wild garlic and perl las.

According to a member of staff Ruth Jones said that it was ‘the best pizza’ she ever had.

Other cast members who dropped by included Alison Steadman, - known for her role as Pam, and Melanie Walters who plays Gwen. The on-screen mothers enjoyed some smaller bites to eat.
