Applications are open for a scheme supporting community projects in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) has launched the second round of its 2024/25 Third Sector Small Grant Scheme – Community Action Fund.

The fund offers up to £3,000 for projects aimed at improving the community, environment, and the health and wellbeing of residents.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on October 22, and all awarded funds must be spent by February 28, 2025.

To qualify, proposals must demonstrate a need for funding and align with one of the following criteria: improving the quality of life in the Vale of Glamorgan, supporting volunteers involved in community action projects, or reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Projects must be new, additional, or revised services, not a continuation of existing services.

An application pack can be downloaded from the GVS website or requested via email at enquiries@gvs.wales.

GVS, a registered charity, is committed to supporting community action and volunteering in the Vale of Glamorgan.
