Fonmon Castle could be getting a major overhaul as part of a new development "masterplan".
In a post on its Facebook page, the business outlined a number of potential new additions to the castle.
The post read: "We are now delighted to announce we have formally started the pre-application consultation process for our application for the first stage of our new masterplan.
"This will include a high-quality and ecologically sound lodge development, new parking facilities to serve the main attraction, and outline proposals for our new guest facilities at the heart of the site."
Fonmon Castle is known for hosting a range of local events including classic car shows, pirate parties, Halloween scare events, game nights, and many more.
The business recently applied to build nine "offline" ponds on the estate in order to reintroduce the currently, county-extinct water vole.
Enquiries concerning the new masterplan were held in a meeting on Tuesday, September 3 in the Castle’s Grand Library. However, the business is still welcoming opinions from the public.
A spokesperson for the castle said: "If you could not make the event and would like to discuss further then please do get in touch."
Fonmon Castle is a fortified medieval castle and a Grade I-listed building.
The castle's gardens have been designated Grade II on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.
