A south Wales Aldi store has reopened after a major refurbishment and extension.
The Ferry Road branch in Cardiff reopened its doors on September 12 at 8am, after the works were completed.
The store now boasts a retail space of 1,315 square metres, providing Cardiff shoppers with a more convenient and varied shopping experience.
The new format aims to make shopping easier, with more space and clearer signs.
Fresh bread and cakes have been moved to the last aisle to prevent them from being squashed under other shopping.
The store also offers new, easy-to-browse freezers.
Cardiff customers can also enjoy the 'Aisle of Aldi', featuring Specialbuys available every Thursday and Sunday.
During reopening week, the store will offer a range of festival essentials.
The store is managed by Jamie Clarke and a team of 25 colleagues from the community.
The extension has created 13 new jobs, and Aldi is continuing to recruit for the Cardiff store.
Store manager Jamie Clarke said: "The team and I are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers, and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available.
"Hopefully the new-look store will make shopping at Aldi Cardiff that bit easier and more comfortable."
The store, located on Ferry Road, Cardiff, CF11 0JR, will be open from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
