The graffiti artist responsible for the Gavin and Stacey mural in Dinas Powys has revealed that a key member of the show has followed him on Instagram. None other than show writer and Smithy himself James Corden.
Tom Llewellyn from Merthyr better known as Tee2sugars said the following:
“I’ve always been a big fan of the show and to take part in something like that was great. It was commissioned by a lady called Anya Clements.
Originally, she wanted some flowers but with the script being written for the final episode a Gavin and Stacey mural instead.”
“I was digging a hole in the garden on a Saturday, and I went to check my phone for updates and there it is James Corden now follows you on Instagram.”
“I know that James Corden has seen it and liked it which is a big upside.”
The mural itself took 3 days to completed and is located near the Tesco’s Express in Dinas Powys.
