Last week officers, detained a group of people who appeared to be involved in drug exchanges in Louisa Place. Seven men were detained and taken to Cardiff Bay Police Station to be searched. One of the men was found to be in possession of 40 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin
Chief Inspector Stuart McDean issued the following statement: “South Wales Police has a zero-tolerance approach to drug dealing and this is just one example of the work we are doing in Butetown and Cardiff Bay.”
“We can, and regularly do, act upon the information provided to us by the public, so please keep it coming.”
In relation to the incident,
Keone Becker, 18, from Butetown, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of criminal property.
