A Vale of Glamorgan distillery now has its products sold in a number of big Welsh venues - including the Principality Stadium.
Award-winning Hensol Castle Distillery spirits are available across Wales, with its popular gins and spiced rums stocked in Michelin-star restaurants and first-class bars as well as the national stadium.
This distillery, nestled in the cellars of the 400-year-old, Grade-I listed Hensol Castle, has been crafting its custom-made gin since late 2021.
The brand soon embarked on a victorious journey, clinching the Best in Country award among others.
Currently, its gins can be purchased in 11 bars and restaurants throughout Wales.
The line up of high-quality gins available includes the classic Welsh Dry Gin and three more creative concoctions; Blood Orange Zest Gin, the Wild Strawberry & Hibiscus Gin, and finally, the Black Gin.
The brand made a successful entry into the world of spiced rums, producing two distinctive flavours, the four-times distilled Spiced Rum and Cherry Spiced Rum, in early 2024.
The spirited journey of Hensol Castle Distillery gins and rums from the supermarket shelves to the finest bars and restaurants of Wales includes their availability in prestigious venues such as the Principality Stadium, Michelin Star Beach House, and Hilton Cardiff Graze Bar and Restaurant.
Their spirits can also be savoured in notable locations like The Potted Pig, Daffodil, Saltlake Seafood Co, Brothers and The Coach Brewing Co, which offers Hensol premiums gins in their four locations: Town Hall Square, Nolton Corner, The Coach, and The Cross Inn.
David Hatton, head of sales for Hensol Castle Distillery, said: "We are thrilled to offer our award-winning spirits in so many fantastic locations around Wales.
"These new venues will allow even more people to experience the unique flavours and craftsmanship of Hensol Castle Distillery in some of the best bars and restaurants in the country.
"We are committed to producing high-quality, handcrafted spirits, and we hope that anyone who gets to sample our rums and gins enjoys them as much as we do."
