It is set to be a wet end to the week in Barry, with not one, but two yellow weather warnings for rain.
The Met Office has issued warnings for Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6, forecasting potentially disruptive weather to conclude the working week.
The first warning kicked off at 9pm on Wednesday, September 4 stretching through to 11.45pm on Thursday, covering south Wales and parts of the south-west of England.
The second warning starts at midnight on Thursday and persists until 11.59pm on Friday.
There's a possibility of some flooding, according to the Met Office. Spray and sudden flooding may lead to difficult driving conditions and possible road closures.
Despite the warnings, early Thursday may be dry but cloudy in Barry, with light rain from 11am and heavier rain in the afternoon from 1pm.
The day may reach highs of 17 degrees. Wind gusts may reach 31mph at their strongest.
Friday promises a mix of conditions, with rain turning to overcast but potentially dry conditions from 7am, and light showers expected after 4pm.
Temperatures might reach 21 degrees with wind gusts around 31mph.
The weekend might offer respite with slightly more stable weather on Saturday, September 7 and Monday, September 9 seeing sunny intervals in the morning before going cloudy. Temperatures will be around 20 degrees - which is the same across the weekend.
Sunday, September 8 will be more of a mixed day with rain and sunny intervals forecast.
