The Vale of Glamorgan Council approved one planning application in the last week.

Here we take a look at the planning decisions made by the council between August 26 and September 1.

The application by Mr Mayne for a storm porch at 10, Adar Y Mor, Barry was approved.

Mr Mayne has various conditions to meet which include the work must be started within five years of the approval date and be carried out in line with the approved plans.

It also includes that the biodiversity enhancements agreed upon must be put in place prior to the first beneficial use of the development and remain in place whilst the development is in existence.

The final condition is that the materials used when building the storm porch must match the materials used in the existing property at the time of approval.
