A SERIAL shoplifter has been jailed after she targeted supermarkets in Barry.
Hannah Hyde, 38, stole Cadbury chocolate bars worth £27.50 from Asda and meat valued at £61.65 from Sainsbury’s.
The defendant committed the offences on July 30 and August 4, Cardiff Magistrates' Court was told.
Hyde, of Barry Road, Barry pleaded guilty to theft.

She was locked up for her “disregard for court orders and non-engagement with probation”.
Hyde was sent to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay compensation.
