POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash between a runner and car which then failed to stop.
Sometime between 5.55pm and 6.10pm on Wednesday, August 14, a 36-year-old woman was out running along a lane between Happy Jakes Caravan and Camping Park and the Northern Access Road to St Athan, near Millands Caravan Park when it is believed she was struck by a vehicle and the driver didn’t stop to help her.
The woman suffered significant injuries, although they are not described as life changing.
In the event that she was struck by a vehicle it is likely that it will have sustained noticeable damage.
