UPDATE, 4.50pm: Janey and Cory have been found

A KID from Barry, aged just 11, is missing.

South Wales Police have put out an urgent appeal to find Janey who is from Barry.

She is missing along with friend Cory, 14, who has links to the town.

A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "Help us find Cory and Janey.

"Cory, 14, and Janey, 11, have been reported as missing by family. Both are believed to be together in the Pontypridd area and may be planning to catch a train.

"Cory is around 5ft 11 of skinny build with dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a black hoody, black joggers, and a baseball cap.

"Janey is around 5ft 3 and of slight build and was last seen wearing a black hoody, black Adidas leggings with white stripes going down the side, black and blue Nike Air Jordan's. She was also wearing a black bandanna on her head.

"Cory is from Talbot Green and has links to Barry and Cardiff. Janey is from Barry and has links to Pontypridd.

"Anyone who may have seen them, or who has information which will help us find them, is asked to contact us by one of the below means quoting occurrence number 2400277342 for Cory and 2400277440 for Janey."
