This past weekend saw RNLI crews from Barry Dock and Minehead RNLI stations take part in a joint training event.

Barry Dock RNLI's all-weather lifeboat - Richard and Caroline Colton II - practiced various rescue techniques with Minehead RNLI.

The aim was to familiarise crews with each other's capabilities. During the exercise, the crews met and carried out various exercise elements as a chance to practice their skills.

This collaboration ensures mutual readiness for real-life rescue operations as the two stations often get called out to work together on incidents.

The Barry Dock RNLI team expressed gratitude for a warm welcome from Minehead RNLI and Minehead Harbour.
