A CYCLIST has been left with life-changing injuries after a crash in the Vale.
Officers from the South Wales Police Roads Policing Unit are calling on witnesses to come forward after a collision between a car and a cyclist at Millbrook Road’s junction with Pen Y Turnpike road in Dinas Powys.
The crash, which took place on Monday, July 8, was between a Honda CRV and a cyclist.
The cyclist who was travelling along Pen Turn Y Pike Road at the time of the incident, "sustained life-changing injuries", which required hospital treatment.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "As a result of the collision, the cyclist, who was travelling along Pen Turn Y Pike Road at the time of the incident, sustained lifechanging injuries which required hospital treatment.
"He has since been released from hospital and is recovering."
