A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
PATRICK O'BRIEN, 20, of Elizabeth Avenue, Barry was fined £120 after he admitted failing to comply with community order requirements.
MORGAN GWYNNE, 19, of Llys Gwent, Barry was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £253 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after pleading guilty to drug driving with a cannabis derivative in the blood on Newport Road, Rumney, Cardiff on February 1.
RACHEL MARIE BUTCHER, 43, of Ravenshoe Road, Barry was banned from driving for six months after she failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
She must pay £1,014 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KYLE HILL, 32, of Glanfa Dafydd, Barry must pay £304 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after pleading guilty to speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone on the A4161 in Cardiff on the Newport Road junction with Colchester Avenue on July 1, 2022.
His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
JASON DAVIES, 44, of Tennyson Road, Barry was banned from driving for 12 months for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence on Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff on February 22.
He has to pay £926 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
DARREN THOMAS, 45, of Lower Pyke Street, Barry must pay £398 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving while using a hand-held mobile telephone on Pontypridd Road on April 13.
His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
MAXINE GEE, 53, of Clos Yr Harbwr, Barry must pay £100 in a fine and a surcharge for speeding at 46mph in a 40mph zone on the A4119 at Mwyndy Cross, Pontyclun on January 20.
Her driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.
IAN DAVIES, 58, of George Street, Cwmcarn, Caerphilly must pay £125 in a fine and costs after he pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly behaviour on Harbour Road, Barry on July 12.
