A virtual pet show has been launched in Barry.
Between August 1 to 30, residents can enter their household pets, whether they have paws or scales, in the competition organised by the town's mayor, Councillor Iannucci-Williams.
There are three categories to enter: best dog, best cat, and best small pet.
Winners of each category will receive rosettes and compete for the overall best in show. The overall best in show winner will win a pet hamper.
Councillor Iannucci-Williams said: "I'm really pleased to be launching our virtual pet show this year and looking forward to seeing everyone's entries.
"Our pets are a big part of our lives and it's great that we can use this to celebrate our furry (and non-furry!) family members whilst raising money for charity."
Entries are £1 per photo, with a maximum of three entries per person and can be made on the Barry Town Council website.
Proceeds from the show will be donated to the mayor's selected charities, Shua Animal Sanctuary and Vale Foodbank.
