GAVIN and Stacey star Joanna Page confirmed she has seen the script for the show's final episode.

Page told BBC Radio Wales on Saturday, August 3: "I finally have got the script."

Page also said she would ‘not be drawn’ into giving away any of the show’s secrets including whether or not Smithy and Nessa get married and if viewers would ever find out what happened on the fishing trip.

Page has recently been spotted in Barry with newly announced Strictly Come Dancing 2024 contestant Wynne Evans filming BBC show All At Sea.

On that visit Page said she hadn’t been to Barry for years and confirmed she returned to Marco’s Café on the Island – where Stacey has a part time job in the fictional series.

Gavin and Stacey is set to begin filming sometime this year on the island for the final Christmas special to be aired this Christmas.

Recently it was revealed a Dinas Powys resident had painted the side of her house in the characters of the show.

Amy Clements commissioned local artist Tee2Sugars to draw a mural of the character son the side of her house.

Sadly, someone had defaced it and drawn marks over the painting of Smithy and of Gavin’s mum Pam.

All At Sea sees Wynne Evans and Joanna Page embark on a fun-filled journey along the Welsh coastline.

Fuelled by their friendship, and shared passions of the sea, food and love of adventure, in each episode we’ll join the pair on board as they explore the spectacular Welsh coastline by sea.

In the heart-warming series, they’ll discover everything from secret coves to seafood recipes, famous ports to fabulous people and we’ll get a sneak peek into the lives of two of Wales’ most beloved stars.
