The return of Tŷ Hafan Football Fives is set to unite businesses through a day of five-a-side football and fundraising.
The event, sponsored by V12 Retail Finance, will be held on September 26 at Gol, Lawrenny Avenue, Cardiff.
The day-long tournament features a round robin league, with teams vying for positions in the Champions League, Europa League and ECL stages.
This will be followed by knock-out phases leading to the finals.
Entry fee is £495 per team, with each team comprising a maximum of eight players.
Demand has been high with only nine remaining spots for teams.
Kelly Dibble, corporate fundraising manager for Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice, said: "The focus of Tŷ Hafan’s Football Fives is on bringing staff together and team-building.
"We work in a hybrid world these days and Tŷ Hafan’s Football Fives offers the opportunity of a great day out for you and your colleagues and all for a very worthy cause."
Last year, more than 20 teams from various businesses raised £12,000 for Tŷ Hafan.
Participants enjoyed post-tournament pizza and drinks, and were joined by football legend Joe Ledley for a Q&A session.
Principality Building Society was the 2023 champions and team member, Sam Palmer, said: "The Tŷ Hafan Football Fives event is an enjoyable day on and off the pitch and a great opportunity for Principality staff to mix with people from other businesses to raise money for such a worthwhile cause, whilst having a bit of a competitive edge.
"Tŷ Hafan has been one of our charity partners for the last few years and the event really helps to raise awareness."
Ms Dibble added: "And don’t worry if you don’t have your team sorted quite yet as we’ll be collecting all the players details closer to the time."
More information and registration details are available at the Tŷ Hafan website.
