MULTIPLE motorists required hospital treatment after a crash in the Vale late last night, July 24.
There was what was described as a ‘serious crash’ on the A4231 Barry Docks Link Road just before 10pm.
The crash involved two vehicles.
South Wales Police confirmed motorists involved in the crash had to be taken to hospital, although no serious injuries were reported.
The road was closed in both directions between Port Road East roundabout to the roundabout with Lidl from around 10pm and wasn’t reopened until around 1am.
In an updated statement released this morning, July 25, a police spokesperson said: “A collision between a red Vauxhall and a grey Nissan occurred on the A4231 Barry Docks Link Road just before 10pm yesterday.
“There were no serious injuries though the occupants of both vehicles required hospital treatment.”
