Residents in the Vale of Glamorgan will be able to sign up for half-yearly subscriptions for garden waste collection.
Available from August, households can opt for this service, offered at half the cost of an annual subscription.
Collecting waste fortnightly, the run spans from August 5 to November 29, 2024.
Additional winter collections can be booked between December 2, 2024 and February 28, 2025.
Subscriptions start at £18 for up to eight bags per fortnight, and £27 for larger amounts.
As an alternative, non-subscribers can compost at home or use recycling centres free of charge.
Extra bags can be purchased from the county's libraries.
On the scheduled collection days, residents must ensure garden waste bags are ready by 7am and should report if a collection is missed.
Annual garden waste subscription services for 2024/25 are also available for £36 or £54 depending on the number of bags.
