A MAN armed with a crossbow tried to seriously injure another man.
Keiron Miller, 26, of Dorothy Close, Barry pleaded guilty to attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent to Teejay Caton.
He also admitted possession of an offensive weapon, the crossbow, in public on the town’s Island Road.
The offences were committed on June 15, Cardiff Crown Court was told.
Miller’s sentence was adjourned for a probation report although his barrister Matthew Roberts confessed that “custody is inevitable”.
Judge Shomon Khan said: “This could have had a tragic outcome.”
Miller was remanded in custody after appearing via video link from Swansea Prison.
He is due to be sentenced on September 5.
The prosecution was represented by Daniel Jones.
