A 50+ forum for the Vale of Glamorgan was held recently at the Murchfield Community Centre.
The strategy forum was held to give attendees an opportunity to discuss service provision for those aged over 50 within the community.
The event was attended by several organisations, including Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern, Age Cymru, the Llandough-based Memory Clinic and the University of the Third Age.
Also in attendance were the Parkinson's Society, the Vale Learning Centre and Dinas Powys Library.
Guests enjoyed entertainment from Tootles Recorder Group, with refreshments provided by Sarah's Cakes and Jams.
Chris Franks, vice chairperson of Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern, said: "We were very pleased to be a part of this event, our charity offers a range of services for the community."
Anyone interested can contact the organisation at 02920 513700 or dpvc@btinternet.com.
