A WOMAN ended up in hospital after her car hit a central reservation and flipped onto its roof in Barry.
The incident happened on the town's Skomer Road at around 10am today, Monday, July 8.
The driver was taken to University Hospital Wales as a precaution.
On the incident, a South Wales Police spokesperson said: "Emergency services were called shortly after 10.00am following a single vehicle road traffic collision on Skomer Road, Barry.
"A Mini, driven by a 44-year-old local woman was in collision with the central reservation and tipped onto its roof.
"The driver was taken to the University Hospital of Wales as a precaution.
"The road was closed for about two hours while the car was recovered."
