A Londoner is raising funds for Hope Rescue after being shocked by puppy farms.

Alex Morgan, moved by her family's experience adopting an abused dog named Billy, has thrown her support behind Hope Rescue in Pontyclun.

Billy, adopted in 2020, had been mistreated and was in a neglected state, nearly blind, had a serious ear infection which had never been treated and other physical ailments including being bow-legged from the size of the cage as a result of puppy farming.

Despite spending only a year with Billy before he passed away, Ms Morgan reports the dog experienced a transformation, offering him a taste of happiness.

Disturbed by the ongoing legality of puppy farms in Wales, Ms Morgan has since adopted two more dogs from Welsh rescue centres.

She appeals for donations to Hope Rescue to aid its efforts in rescuing dogs from the cruel puppy farming trade.

"Anything helps", she affirms. Donations can be made by searching Half Marathon for Hope on GoFundMe.
