A WOMAN remains in hospital after a crash in the Vale yesterday, Wednesday June 26.
South Wales Police were called to an incident on the A48 between Bridgend and Cowbridge yesterday afternoon at 2pm.
The incident involved two cars and police have now confirmed a woman suffered injuries.

In a statement released today, Thursday June 27, a South Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at shortly after 2pm yesterday following a road traffic collision involving two cars on the A48 between Colwinston and Treoes.
"One woman remains in hospital with minor injuries. The road re-opened at 6pm. “
