A free festival will take place in Barry in July.

The Friendship Tree Arts Festival, dubbed as 'The Festival for Nature, Peace and Friendship', returns for its 15th year on July 6 and 7 at The Knap, Barry.

Run by Art4U, this much-anticipated event spotlights acclaimed musicians, artists, and dancers.

Among the performers are The Tremoloshakers, Wayne Brennan, The Rock Choir, Steve David, Thoby Davies, Stephanie Gawne dancers, The Blessed Crow, Tony Cresci with Dave Dearnaley, Managed Decline, Juliette Bel Salter, Sing With Us Tenovus Choir, Pukka Productions, Need more Monks, the Porthkerry Community Choir, and Hank Hillman.

The festival invites members of the public to immerse in art, music, and dance, imbued with a spirit of peace and friendship.

All are welcome to bring their picnics and blankets and join in the festivities at no charge - although donations are appreciated.

Art4U seeks to inspire through collaborative art and foster a culture centred on nature, peace, and friendship.
